Polvo

Since growing up in Yorkshire in England, Olli Curry (Polvo) has surrounded himself with a range of electronic music.

In the beginning he found his love of music while listening to drum and bass, which then traveled through house, tech-house, techno and on to psytrance. His love of dancing and all things music found him at the front row in some of the UKs amazing warehouse party scenes, immersing himself with the bass and sounds that his favourite artist provided. This sparked his ambition to one day get behind a set of CDJs himself and travel through the spectrum of music to find what music truly ressonated deep inside of him..

Since moving to New Zealand in 2018, Olli has found himself submersed in a thriving musical community, being able to connect with producers, artists and organisers from all walks of life! He has been able to experience some of the most amazing events and festivals that New Zealand has to offer, allowing him to start his musical career Djing along side some of the top performers.

Olli has performed in a range of Aucklands clubs and festivals, playing various styles from organic house, psy-dub, Tech-house and techno in places such as Fitzroy, Funkhutt, Kiwiburn, Spectrum, Vortex, Aum, lucid meadow and many others..

Pulling together the sharmanic sounds of ethnic tribal progressive psytrance Polvo found his calling, and then his true journey began!
